I started by reading the “The Art of the Start” by Guy Kawasaki. I am a bit of an Apple fanatic, and this 2005 Stanford commencement speech by Steve Jobs is very inspiring — it is short. Take the time to read it.[amtap book:isbn=1591840562]

Chris Miller of http://www.thecreativecoast.org wrote on Aug 6, 2006:Art of the Start is mandatory reading for any entrepreneur who seeks the asisstance of The Creative Coast Initiaitive. I learned a long time ago, it made no sense repeating for eveyone what they could easily learn for themselves in this great book. Kawasaki does a get job of making picking up the basic pointers, quick, easy and painless. If you can’t stop and take the time to read this quick book, then you aren’t really serious about starting a business. As with so many things, the info is out there, you just have to use it. In this case, an indispensible tool for “anyone who wants to start anything”.Thanks for reminding me Carel.-Chris
